Pointfar Automation: Providing Solutions in Industrial Automation

The advent of industrial automation has transformed industries for better. Rapid advances in robotics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning are enabling organizations to improve productivity, increase flexibility, and ensure safety while reducing errors.  This phenomenon has helped enterprise operating across industries to meet their varied goals effectively.

Today many companies are offering industrial automation solutions; however, only a few have managed to carve a niche in the market. Chief among them is Pointfar Automation, a complete supplier of control system integration and automation solutions. And what made them the preferred solution among customers is its quintessential 3D simulation and Virtual commissioning solutions. “Our goal has been to provide the best support in Automation documentation and programming. We are using the latest technology in Automation project execution and very well specialized in 3D simulation and Virtual commissioning,” says, Kash Behdinan, president of Pointfar Automation.

Quality-driven services

Realizing the fact that most of the business look for revenue growth, Pointfar Automation’s goal from the beginning was to provide quality, automation design with simplified services. With this goal in mind, the company has developed a host of services. Among them, the most significant one is Virtual commissioning. “Virtual commissioning uses 3D technology to create a simulation model of a factory floor process so that changes and upgrades can be tested before implementing them in actual plant systems,” says Behdinan.

This virtual environment allows the manufacturing automation control engineer to validate the programmable logic controller (PLC) and human-machine interface (HMI) before downloading them into real equipment. This approach gives confirmation about software quality and safety issues.

Besides these, the company provides a wide range of other services such as Systems Integration and Programming, High-Performance HMI Design, Safety and Security Systems, and Process Simulation. Moreover, it also provides training and support in a highly advanced design application using 3D simulation software.

Delivering value to a Huge Client Base

Pointfar Automation has built strategic relationships with customers over the years. With its constantly growing solid technical experience, the company continually meets and exceeds the expectations of customers. And this expertise coupled with its ability to understand the needs of customers and deliver them on time has made them one of the leading automation solution providers across the U.S.

Today, the company’s client portfolio includes some of the biggest names in the industry such as bike Tesla, Tech Con Inc, Casa Herrera Inc, Water Innovation Inc, Ensign Inc, and Accent Capitol. In addition, the company has collaborated with the International society of automation to host around 50 courses on Industrial Automation and has also partnered with Dassault systems to offer courses of 3D design and simulation.

Forerunner of the Company

The president of the Pointfar automation LLC, Kash Behdinan is a Ph.D. PMP is an adjunct Professor at California state university of Northridge with over 14 years of experience in automation. His main activities in Pointfar Automation include designing and development of advanced automation, the standard for operation and upgrading the control system. He is also the director of Process Measurement and control division of the International Society of Automation.

Moreover, Behdinan is the member of ISA (International society of automation) from 2004. Throughout his career, he has been involved mostly in design analysis, system integration, testing, and software development in the field of automation and control. Within a short span of time, he has successfully completed more than a hundred automation projects.

The Secret of Pointfar Automation’s Success

The company’s success lies in its two core products – Virtual Commissioning and3D simulation. While delineating on its products, Behdinan says, “We have done an extensive amount of work in the area of Virtual commissioning and 3D simulation. Our expertise is connecting control systems to 3D model and commissions all PLC and HMI program in the 3D Simulation environment.” He adds, “We have been engaged in multiple Automation projects in a different industry.”

Pointfar Automation predominantly provides digital models, computer-aided planning & design, computer-aided engineering and associated software tools to perform the best support in automation design and training.

Going forward, the company intends to be the strongest provider of virtual commissioning and digital twin technology for the manufacturing and process industry. Further, the company also plans to work in advance in the areas of Modeling and simulation using 3D experience platform for manufacturing processes and systems. With a lot of things to look forward in the coming years, the future looks bright for the team at Pointfar Automation.
